The Great Controversy by Ellen G. White describes the conflict between Jesus Christ and Satan, as played out over the millennia from the beginning of the struggle in heaven to the devastating final battle which will be marked with a terrible intensity such as the world has never seen. This book sheds light on Satan's deceptions and the ways he may be restricted and presents a solution to the great problem of evil, revealing the origin and final disposition of sin. White prayed that through this book souls may be delivered from the power of darkness, and become “partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,” to the praise of Him who loved us, and gave Himself for us.
